Commercial Epoxy Floor Installation Columbus Ohio

What takes more abuse than a residential garage floor? Easy! A commercial working garage floor. Ha, okay that was lame, but it is true. Commercial Epoxy Garage Floor Columbus Ohio is what we do and where we do it. In a commercial setting, there is more foot/vehicle traffic, more work, and overall just more things taking place. That is why it’s important to protect your floor from wear and tear with our epoxy flooring.

I am going to write about a specific project that we completed for Newman Roofing in Sunbury, Ohio where they had us resurface their 3000 sq ft garage space for a new work shop, trucks, and other needs. Mr. Newman and his company value Quality Materials, Craftsmanship, and Customer Service – the same values we built our company on here at Premier. With that said, Newman has over 30+ years serving Central Ohio and is a 5 star rating out of 40+ reviews in the past 2 years. Trust the professionals and call Newman Roofing for all your roofing needs.

Installation Process – Epoxy Flooring

The concrete we were resurfacing was from an old mechanics shop that had several cracks, holes, and other issues. Additionally, there was new concrete poured and large dips in old concrete that needed some leveling. Our professional experience has allowed us to overcome these obstacles. Epoxy, polyurea, and some hard-work was all we needed.

Here is our step-by-step guide of the installation process:

  1. Diamond Grind
  2. Patching / Joint Fill / Crack Repair / Leveling
  3. Diamond Grind all Repair Materials
  4. Apply Epoxy
  5. Broadcast Flakes @ 100% Coverage
  6. Apply 2 coats of polyurethane sealer

Most time spent on these projects are preparing the floor for our epoxy coating. This is a labor intensive stage that makes the provides a satisfactory look and function of the floor. We spend roughly 60% of our time at the job site in our preparation stage.
