How long is the installation process?
We believe a garage floor is an investment for homeowners. An investment that is expected to perform for years. To ensure we provide the best value for your investment we are thorough in our installation. Our process takes 2 – 3 days because we want to make sure our preparation and repair is of the highest quality. Ensuring the integrity of prep is the reason why we never receive warranty phone calls.
What is better? Epoxy or polyurea?
Epoxy and polyurea both have a spot in the coatings world. We always recommend 100% Solid Industrial Epoxy. Epoxy dries slower than polyurea and bonds INTO the concrete through penetration. We utilize a moisture tolerant epoxy to prevent any future issues whereas polyurea is moisture sensitive.
What topcoat do you use?
We use an industrial polyaspartic topcoat. This coating is designed to withstand abuse from abrasion and chemicals. A very durable topcoat that we also utilize for our commercial and industrial clients who see much more abuse than our residential clients.
Can epoxy be applied over existing concrete cracks and imperfections?
Yes, large cracks, areas of spalling, missing concrete, trip hazards, and any additional imperfections are repaired before applying any coatings.

Installation Process
5 Steps
Grind/Vaccum
Repair It
High Quality Epoxy Filler is used for all joints, cracks, and spalling repairs. We’ve repaired some gnarly floors in the past and saved the homeowner from an expensive concrete replacement.
Basecoat/Flake
We use a 100% solid, self-priming, moisture vapor barrier for its extreme adhesion to concrete and ability to resist any moisture that may be present in the future. While wet, we throw generous amounts of flakes by hand to 100% coverage of the floor.
Scrape/Vacuum
The floor is scraped and vacuumed to remove all loose and standing flake.
Top Coat
Apply UV stable polyaspartic topcoat by trowel and roller. This fast curing coating allows for foot traffic and light items the next morning.
